Introducing the Council for International African Fashion Education Advisory Board

The Council for International African Fashion Education (CIAFE) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the standards of fashion education in Africa with the objective to bridge the knowledge and skills gap, create opportunities for the future talent and contribute to economic growth.



The Council for International African Fashion Education (CIAFE) is also particular about supporting the development of decolonising the curriculum within European and North American Fashion Institutions.


With such great ambitions, The Council for International African Fashion Education (CIAFE) introduces The Advisory Board, which consists of individuals who set the standards and values of the organisation to ensure the vision and mission of the council is met. The Board is a direct reflection of what the council seeks to achieve and include diverse industry professionals within the fashion industry. These remarkable individuals have experience in the various fields of fashion such as fashion research, fashion law, creative directing, merchandising and operations, branding and strategy, academia, fashion tech, fashion curation, storytelling and writing, consulting, and fashion designing.
