Andre Leon Talley was known for his keen eye for high fashion and vast fashion knowledge. This documentary explores Talley’s life and career as a fashion journalist. Starting with his childhood and upbringing in North Carolina, the documentary follows Talley’s entrance and illustrious career within the fashion industry: from his internship at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art under Diana Freedland to his position as fashion news director at Vogue Magazine in 1983.
